Queens Baton Relay, Gatton

Bus Queensland was proud to be involved in the Queens Baton Relay held in Gatton yesterday by sponsoring the fireworks.

One of the long distance buses was on display in a prime location next to the stage.  Bus Queensland's long distance buses travel through Gatton four times a day on the way to from Brisbane to Charleville and Mt Isa.  

Adam Pulitano, Managing Director of Bus Queensland (Part of the Pulitano Group) and Nicole Phillips, Depot Manager of the Laidley Depot were there to support the event.

Queens Baton entry

Claire Keefer proudly carried the Queens Baton into the Gatton arena.  At the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championship in Doha, Claire won the bronze medal in the Women's Shot Put F41 with a national record throw of 7.62m.
